This SHOUT OUT! entry goes to Comicbook Resources (CBR) for their article on Jay-Z & Kingdom Come. If your brain immediately kicked in on the Kingdom Come vibe? It’s justified. The Jiggaman has laid down some new tracks that trackback to the DC Comics apocolyptic tale and the return of Superman post-retirement.

    I knew that Jigga had an album coming out called Kingdom Come but had no idea it was in relation to Waid/Ross’ awesome story from a few years back. I like the way he linked himself as Superman and is making a triumphant return after living in “exile.” -lol- Superman’s all over the place lately. I read about him being entrenched in Seinfeld lore (I didn’t know that EVERY Seinfeld episode, there is a reference to Superman somehow. Great trivia!) Heck, I even called my latest post the Fortress of Solitude with him in mind. Cool post and open revelations abound man.
