Great podcast. It was nice to hear some talk about JLA. I had not heard/put together the thing about Animal Man maybe biting it in outer space. It makes sense though with Grant Morrison writing 52 and having farked around with Animal Man royally before. My favorite 'team' book right now is Shadowpact. I love me my Detective Chimp. Maybe it could get some love on the podcast.... hmmmm?

P.S. Does the Meltzer come served on toasted marble rye?

I'm hoping to win a date with that cat (even though he said I had to pay) -- he's some type of pimp, that Brad. I think he graduated from Pimp-U on the 15th.

I don't know if they ever made contact, but both Bill Clinton and Wildcat appeared in the Guy Gardner: Warrior series when Beau Smith was writing.

Clinton was drawn by J.H. Williams III, actually.

I'll take a Meltzer with provolone, cheddar and side of fries. Valid points with the big 3 being the corner stone of the DCU, but I'm a little tired of the "Holy Trinity" thing. I like Black Lightning on the team the most considering he rejected membership years ago. Roy is also one of my faves, just for the sheer evolution of the character. He's been a titan, a secret agent, a drug addict and now a leaguer.

"Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes. Go out and read it or I'll kick your fucking ass."

Marvel should make that an ad campaign.
