Hey Max
yeah Static is WAY heavier than the show was. I confess to having only watched the cartoon a couple of times, but the comic was way before it's time in a lot of different ways. In terms of the art on Blood Syndicate, I can only say that the actual regular penciller who came on to do the book kicked serious ass in his first professional job. In two weeks you will see who that was so check back!

Well, sad to say that he only did the first 9 issues of the book before moving on to another series for Milestone called Shadow Cabinet!

I really dig the art stylin' of John Paul Leon on Static. Munson! How many issues did JPL lay pencil to paper on Static?

I remember seeing Static on TV with a puzzled look on my face. The comic seems pretty hard-boiled compared to the show. Totally dig the art on that and Blood Syndicate.

Yes, another convert! Great to have you aboard Loren! Yeah I was a big fan of the Milestone books (as you can tell) and have really enjoyed putting these columns together. Let's hope we get some attention from the creators, maybe we can get some sort of hint as to whether or not there is a comeback in the works or not. I seem to remember reading on wither CBR or newsarama around San Diego Con time there was going to be an announcement about the future of the Dakotaverse, but there was neveranything reported. Well check back next week, and I will have some more reviews of Hardware 3 & 4!
