Bahlactus (n). (bə-LAK-təs). 1. A streetwise, urban anomaly in the comic book universe. 2. A phenomenon which devours all things Comics. 3. A Comics Entity with a compelling vibe charged with raising aesthetic awareness to the next level. 4. Every. Goddamn. Third. Monday. In. February. 5.Earth tastes a lot like cupcakes.

I was introduced to The Sphinx (somewhat indirectly) in The New Warriors’ first series. Great stuff. I didn’t know he’d tangled with the FF or, more importantly, Galactus!
That’s a great cover (including the colors).

So far, FF #173, and FF #210 are top flight covers for GALACTUS. This one comes on pretty strong, especially with the old-and-busted flavor of the Fantastic Four!

This is my absolute favorite Fantastic Four story!! And not because Galactus is in it, either, man :-)
This 11-issue tale just rocked my young mind, what with the cosmic scope, the guest stars, the aging ray affecting the team, and of course, my first real exposure to your man, Galactus!
Marvel needs to package this as a trade. Now.

This entire line simply brings back memories of the great ol’ days of traditional Fantastic Four stories. Maybe it’s just the simple things from the price and someone mentioned colors, to the storyline and even the FF’s ranking in the Marvel-verse back then (You’d be hardpressed to find any comicbook ahead of it besides maybe X-Men and the Avengers at the time), and the rightful usage of the term Clash of the Titans! Remember how so many comics had a claim to that title even though it was hardly a “Clash of the Titans” deal? Nicely done Clarence!

I didn’t know this was an 11 issue run (I thought this joint was 3 actually). I’ll have to get down with the complete story, (I’ve only read the first two parts). Looks like Comicazi will have to dig in the bins for me!
