I only own one issue of Luke Cage: Power Man. It's the one where he steals a Fantasticar from Reed Richards to fly to Latveria and beat up Doctor Doom for the $200 Doom owes him. It's amazing.

What's up Luke? Yeah, he's brains and brawn all in one. Check out some 411 on the big guy at his website:

Imagine that giant with a booming voice tutoring some geek in science class.

You just wait till June when Grevioux starts writing New Warriors! You will see what a huge (literally and figuratively) Marvel Zombie he is. He should definately be Cage, Tyrese is a skinny little bastard compared to Grevioux. Bad Casting!

What's up Garth? I didn't know about Kevin's microbiologist background. Kudo's to that. I did know he served as either a Executive Producer or the guy who wrote the story. Definitely instrumental in it's making. The second wasn't too bad but I wished he had survived the first movie. Dude was menacing as a Lycan. And a Marvel Zombie too??? Dayum! Do the damn thing Kevin!

I agree that Kevin Grevioux would make a great Cage.
My favorite part of the Underworld DVD extras was when Kevin Grevioux talked about how he came up with the idea for the movie. He was a microbiologist and used that background and his take on interracial dating problems as a basis for the film. The fact that he's a Marvel Zombie is a cool bonus.

Aahhhhh! Now YA TALKIN' BRUH! Although there will always be only ONE Luke Cage, I am proud to "sport" his moniker as a tribute to the guy. Actually, the name stuck when one of my workout buddies referred to me as Cage. Whattup Cage? Push it Cage! One more Cage! -lol- Things of that matter. Plus being a huge fan of his, how could I resist? Norrin Radd was going to be my other name.

A couple of years ago, a fellow blogger of all things sent me Essential Luke Cage and Essential Iron Fist! I read that thing from back to front like I hadn't read his story before!Forget the fact that the Essential lines are printed in Black and White. Nonetheless, so many years later, Cage is still the hotness and getting the "A" list treatment finally, with a movie to boot.

Got a question for you man. Although Tyrese has locked down the role for Luke Cage, what actor would you nominate to don the threads of Powerman? I picked that slab of meat from the Kate Beckinsale Vampire vs. Lycans movie. Oh yeah, Underworld. The lieutenant Vampire. Kevin Grievoux. I wrote him a couple of times and told him I was pretty upset that Tyrese got the role that should be his. He was a pretty humble guy and seemed authentically to wish Tyrese well.. Who ya got?
