He was in a lot of great, kind of "primal" Avengers stories until he quit over Henry Peter Gyrich trying to force him into the new Avengers team purely for affirmative action. That was a great storyline but I was always sorry they didn't follow up on it: I would have liked to see the Falcon put Gyrich in his place later on.
