I love Jack Kirby, because the man had a style and flavor that was visionary. What I dig most about his work is that it prompts me to reflect on the world we live in. With the title of this post, I jab at the (now) comedic nature of the cover for this particular issue of Kirby’s Silver Star — would you believe that there was a time when giant negroes roamed the earth?!?
